WestMall will continue House League for 2016 players
WestMall will continue House League for 2016 players. If our current House League participants return (and we anticipate more U10 players joining), this would mean that WestMall would field a minimum of two (or more) U10 House League teams which would join other U10 House League teams at Warren Park Minor Hockey, Weston Minor Hockey and Mimico Minor Hockey to form a larger U10 Etobicoke House League circuit called the Western Alliance House League. This is the most likely scenario and, should parents request it, WestMall has also prepared another option which could be to have the WestMall U9 (2017) kids play with the U10 (2016) kids to form 4 House League Teams.
Lastly, should player and parent demand warrant it, WestMall is committed to fielding a third team, a House-Select team, that would play (in addition to House League games) once a week in the Mississauga Select program which tiers teams by capabilities. If this Select team is created, WestMall would seek volunteer coaches and a team manager for the upcoming season.
