West Mall U11AA GTHL Team – 4th Annual 5km Charity Run
Congratulations to the West Mall U11AA GTHL Team, coaches, bench staff, trainers, players, and parents for the success of their team’s charity fundraising initiative!
The team recently held their 4th Annual 5km Charity Run around Centennial Arena. Players, coaches, and several family members participated in the event, which also included the collection of non-perishable food items for the local food bank and donations in support of Food Banks Canada.
Highlights from this year’s initiative:
- 100 non-perishable food items donated and delivered to the St. James Food Basket in Etobicoke
- $4,481.25 raised for Food Banks Canada, far surpassing the team’s original goal of $1,600
Hockey gives so much to our families — community, personal growth, and unforgettable experiences — and it’s important to us that we also give back. We are incredibly proud of the team’s continued commitment to making a positive impact, and it’s inspiring to see the U11AA group and their families go above and beyond again this year.
